Congratulations!! It looks great. I'm sure you'll have lots of fun filling it up. You have a nice sized yard too.

I'm sure you will having to add more benches soon. I am and have had the gh for almost a year. Am already thinking of adding on!! I think there are little gremlins who come in at night and add orchids to my collection. how did it get so big, so fast?? Betty

Bought the 6 * 8 version of that same greenhouse

I really like this greenhouse it has been everything I wanted except for size I wish I could have gone bigger but small yard with several outdoor orchids and tons of other plant material.

This was very easy yo build, I put it on a wall of bricks 5 high so I got a roof about 9' out of it and that is a good thing since I am 6'7", I also put a 2*4 treated wood along the frame to bolt greenhouse to. Under the door I did not want to have to step over a wall so I stopped the wall on both sides and built a lower door that acts more like a vent then that cheap plastic vent that is built into lower wall of greenhouse, the vented door as I like to call it works great you can controll how much outside air you let in by putting a fan near that dorr and cracking the door open and without opening the greenhouse main door.

I liked the fact that you could put the top vent on either side and it also comes with automatic vent openers. as far as the poly panels the only problem so far has been inside the panels is moister build up, not so much water but more condinsation.

I found that if you use strong wire you can use self tapping screws to run wire along roof of greenhouse and you have room for alot of mounted orchids.

Good luck, if you want pictures of my setup email me at orchidbyte@sbcglobal.net as my pics. are slightly larger then max. size on the Board.

I can't wait for mine to be built - in about 6 weeks my growing space will move out of the house! I bet we all want more space - how to cope!! Best wishes for happy growing!
