I wouldn't touch and definitely don't eat it. They do carry a form of leprosy ..

Thanks for the great information, Dorothy. I never dreamed there was so much to know about an armadillo!
I don't believe I'll be dining on one any time soon. Rare or otherwise.
Or touching one.
I think I'll try the moth balls, first or something smelly and see if I can't get the critter to move along peacefully.
