i was wondering if you built that your self or had a kit or did a company build it and cost and if you live in a cold winter area that green house looks great

Hey Eric, The GH is a kit from SunGlo Greenhouses that I purchased through Costco and increased the size from an 8 x 12 to 8 x 15. Costco sells the 8 x 12 at a discount and for $400.00 I increased the size direct from the manufacturer. I think for the hobby GH'ser, this is a good deal because it comes with a 15000BTu electic heater, benches, potting basin, small fan and thermo controlled exhaust fan. The kit is relatively easy to assemble and comes with all the hardware and tools to do the job. I built the treated lumber walls and flooring, etc. I also changed the configuration of the electrical panel that comes with the kit to fit my design. I live in the Detroit, MI area so winters can be cold down to 5 to 10 deg. I did change out the electric heater for a natural gas heater (cost) and use the other as a backup. If you are paranoid there is a product called TimberSil
it is wood infused with sodium silicate, a melted mix of sand and soda ash it is non toxic and wont leach anything out. The price is about the same as regular pressure treated wood
