Default Starting to grow in my new greenhouse

I had a guy build me a greenhouse over the summer. He started in mid-June and finished his part in mid-August. I also had a contractor run the gas, electric, and water services to the building.

I spent August and September getting the rest of the systems set-up -- running electric and installing circulation fans, testing that the gas furnace comes on at night, that the exhaust fan and automatic intake shutters come on at the right time, and so on. I've got 4 Govee sensors that track temp and humidity to be sure it was staying in ranges I liked.

Starting September 27 I started moving racks of orchids out of the house and into the greenhouse. I didn't have budget or time this year for purpose-built shelving, so I'm just using my old wire racks and will replace that next spring/summer.

I've also got some of my tender non-orchid plants in there too.

Looks pretty nice to me! Well done.

I do see a serious problem, however: that second photo shows potential "orchid space" being occupied by unnecessary stuff like a table and chair!

A lovely paradise for sitting and contemplating. And expansion space that you will repurpose for more orchids that you will certainly acquire. Nature abhors a vacuum...And orchids multiply to fill the available space and keep on multiplying. Always room for one more.
