Ya in my case I've tried to max it out best I could with the space I have. Currently I have relatively few plants but most are bifoliate cattleya seedlings so they will get massive and I have a long list of plants "to get."

Your point is well taken though... I'll squeeze every square foot I can out of it

I agree it sounds amazing. And I'm actually expecting benefits from the chlorine. Reduced pest issues, reduced fungus, reduced bacteria...right? I don't know if science will back me up but I hope it would...haha.

But yes, you're basically realizing a dream shared by many of us. So the least you could do is have a hot tub party for us when it's done !!

I recommend surrendering at the start and covering your property with the largest amount of greenhouse space your municipality will permit. Less mowing, irrigation repair and shrub maintenance.

In November, I and the orchid society visited a private greenhouse that has a full size swimming pool within, and an adjunct greenhouse which was attached. Beautiful plants, a real luxury. (It is being discontinued, however)
Glad I don't have to pay that kind of heating bill!
