Ah! Now I understand the issue! Thank you so much @ray and @Roberta ! That wasn't clicking in my head, LOL. Thanks again, 2 normal fan heaters (one backup) on my check list now!

You might want to spring for a proper greenhouse-rated electric heater. The one that I have had for years seems to have been discontinued, but this one is being sold as a GH heater. Portable Electric Heater, 120V It should be adequate for a 6' x 8' GH (1500 W heater wasn't sufficient for my 8 x 12 GH, I ended up going with gas, but it is plenty for my little 4 x 8 lean-to.)

I would suggest something like this rather than a cheapie space heater - again, the GH is a hostile place for things electrical. Don't skimp. If it 's not up to the job on the coldest nights, you might want to keep a portable propane heater around as a supplement. No thermostat so it requires turning it on before you go to bed and off in the morning, but those REALLY cold nights are fairly infrequent. MH9BX Portable Buddy Heater Sporting, available from a variety of sources. Get it with the optional hose to use with a 20 lb cylinder (like for a barbeque) - it'll run on a 1-lb cylinder but only for about 4 hours, the expensive way to go. In fact, instead of buying two electric heaters (to have a backup) get one of these instead - it can be used as a backup as well as a supplement. It is rated for indoor use, so is safe in the GH - the cylinder needs to be outside, plenty of length to run the hose inside the GH.

Thank you for the suggestion
. It certainly seems reasonable, and I had no idea there were specialty heaters! I really have no clue what I'm doin, LOL.
