March Meeting, Northeast Georgia Orchid Society: Water Management for Orchids

Water Management for Orchids. Proper water management is necessary to maintain a balance between proper plant hydration and promoting healthy roots. NGOS member Dennis O’Connell will discuss watering frequency, water quality, and factors that affect how often orchids should be watered.

In preparation for the April meeting activity (De-flasking Orchid Seedlings), we will be selecting orchid flasks to order (participants receiving seedlings in April following deflasking will share costs of ordering flasks).

As with all regular meetings, please bring any plants you may have that you would like to “show and tell”, or bring in any plants that you may have questions about.

It's great that you post meeting notices here. It's outreach I don't see other societies doing. Heck, some don't even update their sites!

We are a small club, hoping to grow. I think getting the word out, meeting notices etc., Will hopefully gain us some new members.

I am also trying to encourage NGOS members to join and become active on Orchidboard.
