NGOS Meeting this Sunday, 10-20, 2PM at the UGA Plant Biology Greenhouses (115 Riverbend Rd, Athens Georgia)

Details of this weekend's NGOS meeting from NGOS President Kevin Tarner.

Please note that this Sunday's meeting will be held at the same time (2PM) but at a*different location, specifically the UGA Plant Biology Greenhouses at 115 Riverbend Road in Athens. It's just 5 minutes from the State Botanical Garden.

Our meeting topic for this weekend is*non-orchid companion plants. I will be showcasing various tropical orchid companions we keep in the greenhouse collection. We cultivate a wide variety of fascinating epiphytes and other types of plants that do well in orchid conditions and grow alongside orchids in nature. Begonias, carnivorous plants, tropical blueberries, antplants, bromeliads, ferns, aroids--there are limitless options to diversifying your collection.

As always, we'll hold show and tell during the meeting, so bring any awesome orchids you've got in bloom or have questions about. Hope to see you folks soon, and have a good weekend until then!

Kevin Tarner
