Tour of the UGA Plant Biology Orchid Collection (Northeast Georgia Orchid Society Meeting)

Sunday, August 18, 2PM, UGA Plant Biology Greenhouses at 115 Riverbend Road, Athens, Georgia (note different location: NOT State Botanical Garden of Georgia. A map is attached)

This meeting will feature the teaching collection and orchids of the UGA Plant Biology Department. NGOS President and professional horticulturist Kevin Tarner will lead a tour through the epiphyte collections he curates.

The meeting is open to the public (also no cost)

Feel free to bring plants for show-and-tell, or that you have questions about.

LOL Small world. Tell Kevin that Paul from Terra Forums (a carnivorous plant forum) said "hi"!

(Wonder if he is keeping his personal Jewelbox 'Dark Waters there or at home? )

I will pass along your shout-out to Kevin!

I have a couple divisions of Dark Waters from Kevin, there was also a plant in the greenhouse collection, though I don't know if he donated a plant to the greenhouse.
