This Vanda coerulea was purchased in bloom in September 2007, from Andy's Orchids, at The SFOS's OrchidFest. In a chilly, foggy San Francisco, CA environment, it quickly developed some alarming spots of a couple of different types. Two years later and with some personal advice from Andy himself, the vanda has remained healthy and has re-bloomed! Delightful.

This is the SAME spot pictured earlier in the thread, now 2 years later - showing that it has not grown or spread. A few more black spots have developed, but they don't appear to be related to this one, which looks like a bruise.
