I do recommend this plant for people new to paphiopedilums. Paph Pinocchio is glaucophyllum x primulinum. These are multifloral plants that bloom sequentially, meaning that they put one bloom out at a time (sometimes more). This means that the spike will stay in bloom for a long time, as each new bloom replaces the old one. I've read that mature plants can be permanently in bloom!
