Every year my family and I travel from Oahu to the Big Island to help our friends set up a display for the Hilo Orchid Society show. This year the display we helped set up was awarded over 40 ribbons and two trophies, not bad for a few hours work. All of the plants you see in this photo belong to Kai Quintal of Quintal Farms in Kurtistown, Hawai'i, one of the best, if not the best orchid grower I know!
