This is an orchid that the neighbor, Cindy, across the street saw at the Food Lion. She bought it and put it on the stairs just inside my front door. I found it when I came in from working out near the barns. I accused everyone that I could find of putting it there but Cindy since she was gone.

It bloomed for over a year, from mid summer when she gave it to me until the following autumn. There were about 5 blooms at any one time but as the oldest wilted the end bud would grow some more setting out new buds which then opened. I lost count (forgot) of how many there were but it was over 20 from start to finish.
