Watering the plants

Description: This is how I water my orchids. I do this once a week (whether or not they need it :) ) and let them soak several hours, more in winter, less in summer. All the pots are in plastic pots to hold the water up at least half the height of the clay pot.

Description: There were seven plants blooming when I took this. This one I closed the drapes to make the plants easier to see since the window creates a "hot spot" in the photo.
