Description: The neighbor across the street, Janet, gave this to me since she didn't have room for it. Her son's girl friend, Kitty, saved it from the trash after her sister threw it out.

Description: This is an orchid that the neighbor, Cindy, across the street saw at the Food Lion. She bought it and put it on the stairs just inside my front door. I found it when I came in from working out near the barns. I accused everyone that I could find of putting it there but Cindy since she was gone. It bloomed for over a year, from mid summer when she gave it to me until the following autumn. There were about 5 blooms at any one time but as the oldest wilted the end bud would grow some more setting out new buds which then opened. I lost count (forgot) of how many there were but it was over 20 from start to finish.

Description: This is the first bloom on a keiki that I got from a plant that a computer system analyst had. She let me have it when I visited the office after I retired.
