Den farmeri x amabile = den rosy cluster

Love the pink rosy glow of farmeri and amabile. Both are pink and last year at redlands orchid festival I found the cross tween the two and had to have it. I had traded the amabile (for cash but retained the farmeri.
When the rosy cluster bloomed it looked just like either parent and at first I could not see the benefit of making the cross, however since last May this plant has bloomed 3 times.... ohhhh... now I get it... hybrid vigor and the plant is now a free bloomer versus either parent being a one time a year bloomer... so there...
