Dendrobium atroviolaceum
Little bit earlier than before, my atro began sending up its inflorescences last month. There are total 12 spikes all over the canes, and some flowers began to open yesterday while some others are not mature and would take few weeks before doing so. 
I've been growing this in semi-hydroponics for four years and it performed really great.  |

(Almost) In full bloom. 
The weight of the flowers makes canes to droop...which results in more spread-out, fuller-looking presentation, IMO. |

What a truly incredible plant! How long have you had it? I cannot get over how long those spikes are, so many flowers on each spike! Well done, you should be proud 😊
