Default ‘Lady Colman’

One of my two plants has put out two flowers. That doesn’t sound like much but these are small divisions that I bought last April, from a fellow member of the East Midlands OS, so I see these blooms as a bonus. It flowered on the previous cane and this year’s is bigger so I have hope for the next time.

Thanks. It’s the first nobile type that I’ve managed to get in bloom - all four were bought this year - so it’s special for that alone. It flowered on the previous cane and the latest is bigger, which is a good sign, but it currently only has one direction of growth. The flowers are quite pretty so would produce a lovely show on a bigger plant. Here’s to next year!

Seems early to be blooming now. Here, typically don't see nobiles blooming until February or later.
