Dendrobium unicum Male
Default Dendrobium unicum

Just one new pseudobulb last year, but it turned out to be full of flowers.

I treat it just as other deciduous dens, like nobiles and moniliformes. A bit shriveled, but it seems doing ok.

The shriveled look is normal on the old canes as long as the new canes do not look like that.

Is yours fragrant?

It is only slightly fragrant, with somewhat oily--crayon-like--scent. Not bad though.

Give it some time, the smell gets a bit stronger.
