Hi..I fell in love with den hilda poxon and before I buy...any tips from the experts? I see it's an aussie den. Does it need a slight winter rest? Are they difficult? Any advice is appreciated...Thanks so much!
I don't grow this, but do grow speciosum, kingi, specio-kingi, and some other kingi hybrids ... none of mine get any winter rest, tho they do like some cool night temps fall - winter, and watering is reduced with the cooler temps.

For best growth and flowering, allow cooler temperatures in the fall and winter.
Down under I give it a 6 week rest period during the winter. There are two variety of Den Hilda Poxon one has clean petals and tends to be an early spring flower the other has spotted petals and tends to flower near the end of spring early summer. Photo is of an early spring Den Hilda Poxon
