Den. Nobile Keiki Rescue

Hello everyone, the other day at work came across this keiki that had been torn away from the mother plant. It was still laying in the foliage, but had been detached. It seems that it had plenty of roots at one point, but most of them have been cut or torn to about one inch in length! I’ve removed the remaining flowers off since taking these pics. The cane has started to shrivel a bit, so I’m debating on putting a top-layer of sphagnum moss around the roots that have been cut off to retain some moisture. Any input or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Now the growing season is about to start.
I would put it somewhere with bright indirect light, warm temps and high humidity.
But I suspect your sugestion might work if you can provide those temps and constant moist.

I would put some sphagnum moss around the damaged new roots, and keep it moist. They need a lot of water while growing.

Thanks for the input, I’ve went ahead with the Sphagnum moss around the roots. Fingers crossed!
