Dendrobium victoria-reginae growth timing

Hey all-

I picked up a D. victoria reginae during the late summer. It lost most of its leaves around Oct-Nov (which I understand is normal for this species).

Now it has just been sitting there in its pot, staying moist, since I brought in plants in Nov.

I was wondering what is the timing of new growth on this? Is it a once-a-year new growth sender in the spring? It looks a bit spindly at this point and I'm hoping not to kill it.

I've had one for several years, and haven't really taken note of when it grows, but I do believe it is seasonal ... spring - summer ?
