dendrobium loddigesii needs some help.

My loddigesii was on a piece of fibrous ponga log and did well for about 5 years but recently had started to die off so have now put it into a pot with coarse bark and sphagnum moss and its started to pick up again after only about 3 weeks. New leaves appearing.

it is growing now more then it has since a few months after it woke up. I think it likes drying out a bit at least in this house.
