Default First bloom (for me) on NOID Den.

I've been looking forward to this for almost a year, and waiting and waiting and w a i t i n g for the buds to open has been torture, LOL. When I got it, it had the remains of one flower, but not enough remains for me to attempt to ID it more than its section.

I got the plant last fall from another member of my local society - she was going to pitch it because it had bugs. It wasn't that badly infested, I thought, so I took it home, and after treating it several times I think I finally have wiped out the scale and mealies.

It's so gorgeous! And I'm so happy I've been able to not just keep it alive despite a bit of a rough start (I did overwater it some for a while and rotted some roots, oops), but happy enough over the last year to bloom, and to grow a new stem as well.
