OMG I received my plant yesterday and it is in spag moss! Can I use ceramis in a pot? What about brick, since I have a ton I can crush. Help! It is wet!
Calm! If I lived in a wet, humid climate I would use large particles of something.
How large are your Seramis particles (if that is what you meant to write?)
Large chunk bark would work, but you would probably have to repot every 1-2 years, even if it hadn't outgrown the pot. LECA balls from the hydroponics store would also work well, and that is probably what I would use.

Want to hear the funny part? My latouria in the spaghnum moss has gorgeous roots! I pulled it out after I asked this question. But I am switching to. I guess what I have is ceramis since it is round? Bigger than a pea. Maybe dime sized.
