Second time blooming. Many previously bloomed canes has sent up another round of flower spikes.

As a bonus, it has vanilla chocolate scent.

Very nice, good growing! I have the Pygmy of this plant, now called Den normanbyense, which has no fragrance. But I have a Den Little Andre which does have a chocolate scent, so now ai know where that fragrance came from.

Does it take time for the fragrance to develop? I have one of these in bloom right now but it isn't fragrant.

I have Den. Microchip, which has normanbyense as a parent. I love how generous these plants are in their blooming. Yours is beautiful, nice foliage too!

At least for my plant, it appears to take about 2~3 days for the scent to fully develop. In my case, the scent is particularly strong during the bright daylight.

Of course, there is a chance that there might be some clones without fragrance. ;-)
