The classic species, Dendrobium nobile.
The rose-like fragrance is wonderful.
In another angles. Color appears too blue-ish, though.
The green and purple contrast in the column is quite interesting:
Bonus: Dendrobium linawianum. The overall shape of flower is very similar to that of Den. nobile, but the color scheme of lip is different, as well as the size of the flower (linawianum is smaller than nobile).
Unfortunately, this poor guy had a serious slug attack which consumed many part of its roots last summer, during my vacation.
The plant has nonethless recovered, but the weakend strength resulted in only three flowers this year.
