I've heard the scent of anosmum described as 'rhubarb' - which is pretty close.
One of my first orchids was this one, purchased in glorious bloom, then it grew like mad for the next three seasons. Suddenly, the leaves all fell off, so I chucked it into the trash. Thought it was defunct.

Now that's humorous. Was going to say funny, but wasn't sure you'd think that. My first year wa spent trying to keep the leaves from falling off, but then no flowers. Once I found out that's what is supposed to happen I have done better.
