Yamamoto website and their advice was my starting point, before I even got this dude (and 4 others since as I simply adore them!).
I'm sure the plant wasn't overfertilised as I stopped around mid August. And the 3 unflowered nodes on the old cane do have buds already. But as the other cane has been taking so long to mature I thought maybe the plant was lacking something.
