Dendrobium sulawesii
Hi all,
This is (I think) Dendrobium sulawesii.
I have had this orchid in my terrarium for 5 years at least. It is permanently attached to the background of the tank and therefore cannot be taken out for photographic or other purposes. I'm building a new tank and hope to be able to take a cutting from this plant. It has 20+ canes with leaves and is always throwing out random blooms. Once or twice a year it produces a profusion of blooms and puts on a real show. That being said, these are two flowers which just opened last nights, and I expect they will still be there in late November. They always last about a month and a half. I love this Dend.!

Thank you Shannon! What I like about it is that the blooms are relatively large and they last a long time. Oh and the colour is fantastic.
