I really need to stay off of eBay. I always find another from my wish list and I lose all self control. This little one was impossible to pass up. Anyone growing it? Any tips, problems or suggestions?

It is potted in a fine mix in a 1 1/2" pot, currently has blooms but I know they will be gone when it arrives. I plan to add it to my terrarium though might try window sill? It needs med-high light, dry between frequent waterings and likes humidity of around 65%. Intermediate to warm temps. Enjoys typical feeding for orchids.

I'm excited to have found this and anxious for it to arrive, decided to ask for any tips from other growers. This is another purchase from Mountain Orchids. Thanks for any input!

I posted about this plant two weeks ago, it arrived on June 8th. It had a bloom at the time of purchase, long gone when it arrived. I put it into my countertop greenhouse and attempted to keep it happy.

It started forming a couple of buds soon after and they really mature fast. Very cool to watch them grow bigger each day. This morning at 8 am two flowers were opening when I checked the plant and I've been watching and taking pictures all day. Tonight, 12+ hours they are still open though beginning to fade. This is an really cool plant and I'm loving the flowers as well as the unique look of the plant.

Here are a few pictures, when I received it, and today's blooms. There are three new buds forming!

another great mini for you! I've grown a few of them and have a couple currently and they all seem to have similar culture... medium everything - light, water, temperatures seems to suit them fine, although I've always grown them in cases so high humidity... and they handle very hot weather as i just found out...

A great thing about them is they don't seem to need low temps to bloom so indoors is perfectly good for them, bloom periodically through the year... but as you may have noticed, the flowers don't last very long, I have one where the bloom only lasts a day... I've never grown them in windowsill but being that they are from pacific islands that are equatorial giving them longer light days that vary little throughout the year may keep them blooming year round... just some thoughts...

Too bad the blooms don't last longer, but at least the plant is so cute you probably don't care that much.
