hello!
I can't find information specifically tailored for this kind of dendrobium. if someone knows about some sources of information (book, online) or just personal experience on windowsill culture, i would really appreciate.

DENDROBIUM Most of the plants are pendulous, with leaves all along the canes that most often drop with onset of cooler, drier weather. One to five flowers per node are borne from the nodes of the leafless canes in midwinter through early spring.

Group 1 Species such as Den. chrysanthum, Den. friedricksianum, Den. nobile and Den.wardianum

Culture Growth period in summer; give warmth, water and fertilize heavily from when roots appear until top leaf appears on canes. Then give high light, little or no water, no fertilizer, cool nights (40 to 50 F). In other words, forget about them.

There is a large amount of information on Den. nobile and hybrids here on Orchid Board. Use the Search function in the top red menu.

They grow very easily in summer. People sometimes say they will not bloom. Do not fertilize after about August 1, or they will not flower. They need to have 5C-10C for two months in the winter to flower in the spring. If it is too warm in winter they do not flower. During the winter they need much less water than in the summer, and they usually drop leaves.

In my experience most nobile hybrids nowadays do not need very cold winters, but the critical criteria is dryness for them to bloom.
For window sill culture, if you can achieve min temp to around 15 c but completely dry, you would probably be able to flower them, but be sure to give them some very bright light. Winter sun does them no harm in a south facing window.

The trick is to discipline yourself to leave them alone for two months or so, hard to do if you love your plants.
