Dendrobium okinawense is a native orchid in east Taiwan. It is found in recent years. Seedling plants are now available.

Congrats on getting it to bloom! Mine has had about 10 buds for over a year now, some are starting to shrivel.......and there is 1 bud on another leafless stem. Easy to grow and hardy, but I'm doing something wrong.

Although it is a native orchid, the wild plants live in cool forest. Therefore, it dose not tolerate our hot summer.
