Default yippie! I won!

Ok so today at the orchid society meeting, I won one of the raffle orchids!
Lovely little plant, but I could use some tips!
Looks to be young, near blooming size...will post pics when I get a sec. I know the blooms are supposed to be pretty wild! Label says it's from Carter and Holmes Orchids.

den. spectabile

Thanks!

if it is young then you just may have to wait they can take up to 9 years before the y bloom and they get rather large

Hi Carolyn, I have one of these. The fragrance on this one is slight. The one that I have is a division from one that was 25 yrs old. It is getting new growth on it now, I have not seen any spikes as yet. I have it just by a south window, water every week. Looks to be happy & just waiting for spring. Congrats on the win!!!

Diane
