Default Den Laevifolium question

Hi, all
I got this last year in bud. It bloomed ok, then rested for a couple of months. It started growing new leaves a couple of months ago, but has stopped growing now. The leaves are very tiny and are not growing at all. It is in SM, I keep it moist, not wet, it is under the T-5s 10 hours a day. Day temps around 70F and nights around 60F. Humidity is 65 to 75 %. Is getting kelp max and fertilizer every 2 weeks. So, do I need more/less light, higher/lower temps to get it growing again ? Would a repot help and if so is it ok to do that now ? Any opinions appreciated. Thanks

I have a laevifolium hybrid, and they're a pretty slow grower. I grow them intermediate, so if you could bump daytime temps, it would probably help. I keep mine moist and let it dry out maybe once a week with near daily watering. But definitely heat. Lighting is probably fine, I let mine get a little bronzing and it loves it.

Maybe reduce the amount of fertilization. Mine are still growing and I maybe have fertilized twice in a year. I don't think they like a lot. The first time I fertilized my plant seemed like it didn't like it so I changed all the moss just to get it out of it.

Thanks, guys. Do you think it's ok to repot at this stage of growth ?

You can repot these guys at any time, I have never had a problem. They love fresh moss, at least mine seem to.

I just re-potted mine into a seedling mix with a bit more moss in it. As soon as I did that it is now starting to get some buds. Not sure if it was just the timing or not. I only had one new growth but it is already losing one of it's new leaves. I'm not sure why but I think it has 2 of the old psb starting buds and I am still hoping for the others to start. It was one of the orchids that I think got the bacterial fungus or what ever I have but most seem to be getting on with it.

I think they like fresh loose new s.moss. I think they are sensitive to mineral/build up in the media.

I recently had a plant get some red spider mites, so I decided to look at all my plants closely. When I mean closely I mean look at the leaves through a digital microscope. And guess what? A few of those mites had gone onto my Den laevifolium. No red spots or silver streaks noticeable, but yet there they were. I love those microscopes! By the time I would notice mite damage all my plants could be infected. Who would think that a plant living in such a moist media would have them but yes they can.

I am not familiar with digital microscope. Is that like a regular microscope or is it something hand-held. Where do you get it ?
