Love the last two plants!!! I don't grow many dendrobiums, but lately I have considered adding a few more to my growing space. Your pics may be the push I needed to take the plunge. Surprisingly, the only Dendrobium I grow well is cuthbertsonii.

Hibiki is a little flower powerhouse and it's an easy grower...you really can't go wrong with it.
I love the aussie dens but so many of them are far too big for my space but Gillieston is more of a compact plant so it's perfect for under lights. It also like to push out multiple rounds of blooms so while the individual blooms don't last a very long time...the overall bloom time is a few weeks.
I've seen many of your orchids and I think you would do really well w/either (or both!) of those dens.
I have never tried cuthbertsonii but have been tempted by some of the pics. A fellow club member has 3 color varieties and they are gorgeous. I've heard they are difficult to grow and bloom and since I've killed a couple of C coccinea so I tend to shy away from those that need that specific cool temp range. If I ever run across one though...I will probably give it a go.
Thanks for the comment.

Thanks for the recommendation and kind words, Katrina. When I first started growing I had bad luck (a.k.a. no skill) with dendrobiums, 10 years later I think it is time to put that behind me!!!

I know what you mean, Nikkik. When I first started growing orchids, I had those same bad results but it was with phals. Took me awhile before I was willing to give them a try again. I still don't grow them as well as I do some others, but I'm better. I definitely think it's time you dive back into Dens.
Thanks again for all the great comments, everyone.

Well of course I did, my dear hubby is hoping it knocked some sense into it
But alas I looked again and I am still bitten.
We will see how I will do as I am just starting with the Dens. I have 3 so far.
