"Quack, quack!" That's really funny!!! And it does seem like that's what it's saying. I wish mine would say something.

It could be, Gwen. I guess I'll know when the flowers start to open. Was there a distinct difference in the flowers? I'm having difficulty telling them apart just from flowers...

There was another unicum hybrid at the London Orchid Show which look similar as well. I got a photos of it.

Den. Stardust 'Fire Bird'

How tall is everyone's tallest cane on the unicum?

My tallest cane is 3.5 inches. Same with the leafed cane.

My tallest cane. . .measured to the top of the cane, not the leaves, is only 2.5 inches.

OK, well I've got some really tiny leafless canes (less than half an inch) but the two 'big' cane are more like 8 inches and 3.5 inches. I'm really looking forward to seeing the flowers - but I don't know if that's going to be much help if all of the flowers look so much alike!!

You know, these really are kinda ugly little plants. . .but I absolutely adore them! Have you noticed any fragrance? If mine has one, it's very light.

Only one of my blooms has opened. . .here's a close up in my Exo Tank:
