Have had 20 Dendrobiums for about 2 weeks now and have fertilized them with 22-8-12 & TE + Calcium every 2nd day with watering twice a week.
They have also had 2.5 days of good rain and some gentle storm rain as well. It is mid summer here.
What a response! They look to have doubled in size. Had no idea they were so well suited to our climate here.
The Cattleya's were brought home on the same day as the Dendrobiums. The Cattleyas are really healthy but do not have the growth rate of the Dendrobiums.
The Dendrobiums have also been raised in Fame Orchid Nursery that is very close to our climate here and not far from here.
Hope the Dendrobiums are not carnivorous.
