Den Lucky Angel
This is my nobile that I got years ago and haven't been able to bloom. It's making up for lost time , now. These blooms are open and quite a few buds yet to open. Just too bad they won't all open at the same time.
Note to Judith, Mandy, and Stephanie : This is what mama looks like

Very pretty. I need to build up the courage to try and grow this type of orchid one day. I really find them fascinating.

I am far from an expert, but I tried something different this year. I stuck it out in the driveway where it got full sun until about 2 PM, then shade from a tree. I watered it every day and fertilized once a week. It grew two really fat PBs, and formed the little nubs by August, but I didn't know if they would be buds or keikis until October. Last year all it did was keikis.

Update on Den. Lucky Angel
Doing great. Still only about half out. Lots of buds still waiting I am so happy with this. I didn't think I would ever get it to bloom.
