My Lumina phone camera was awesome but having a windows phone was quite limiting and it didn't have apps I needed so I went back to Android and got my Galaxy and even though I was told the camera was good...it sucks. I did find a "daylight" setting in the white balance function options and that's helped w/the colors. If you have something similar it will make the colors better...not great, but definitely better.

I hear iPhones have the best cameras so I might make the leap next year. Maybe. I broke my real camera summer '14 and I hate to spend the money on something I would always forget to carry w/me when I needed it so I was hoping I could get everything in one device...my phone. [sigh]

The problem is that a lot of what we "see" is actually the brain's interpretation of what the eyes register. The black print on a page at the beach reflects more light than the white background by candlelight, but the brain interprets the light registered to maintain order.

Well - it does take pretty good pix of my cat

It's a gorgeous Dend, with a great pink colour.
