They can bloom from any nodes where there's leaves. I have mine bloom continuously thru out the year. Den. Phal is easy to grow and a reliable bloomer.

Default It's blooming :)

The 2 spikes off the old cane shriveled up and died along with the bottom most bud on this spike, not sure why but I'm guessing it may have been from the cold near the window (have since moved all my plants back) but I'm loving the 3 blooms I got!
