I grow the trantuanii and the first 1 1/2 years I had it I grew it mounted. It didn't die but it didn't grow either. I finally put it in a net pot with seedling bark and keep it constantly moist.

As Matt says, it is a small growing Den with beautiful very long last flowers which makes it a favorite of mine.
