Dendrobium auriculatum

Following the hot trend of Dendrobium species, I bought this little bugger that I fancied because of the foliage. Who needs that lucky bamboo stuff when you can have an orchid that kinda-sorta looks like bamboo AND FLOWERS!

And for you fragrance junkies out there, it faintly reminds me of briny ocean; the smell of a really fresh oyster if you've had one. Not fishy, but briny. It's only been a day, so I'll have to update on it in peak of flower-i-ness.
