Dendrobium laevifolium in bloom
Ha ha I fooled you I can't take credit for this as I got it this way. Thanks Ray. I just got this and I was surprised as it came in bloom. But I wanted to show it off anyway. Is this other funny thing a new growth or is it another bud? This is such a strange plant the bloom looks just like the Psb that the leaves grow on.

Healthy looking plant, and cute blooms! I wish I was in the US so that i could order from Ray.... This Den has been on my wishlist for quite a while, but not that common at the vendors I usually shop at.

Nice! I think it is a flower starting off that older bulb. They like to stay moist, I mist the media almost every morning on mine.

I think it may be too. It has gotten more pink looking but sad news the psb with only one leaf is turning yellow with some black spots and now a leaf on the bigger one is also.
I hope I'm not killing it already ![Sad](http://www.orchidboard.com/community/images/smilies/icon_sad.gif)

Mine is in all spag moss. Keep the moss down around the base of the bulbs, but keep all the roots covered. They are rubbery and do not like to dry out. The bulb needs to stay dry, I don't mist the bulbs or leaves, only the media. Mine are in some sort of hibernation. I lost all my leaves. The plant does not mine being repotted,so don't worry about doing that. It does like fresh media. You might just want to check your roots, just so you know. I use well water, so not sure how picky it is on that. I wouldn't fertilize right now, I rarely did even before this hibernation thing. I also have mine in a lower indirect light. I know mine was in bloom in Oct so not sure what's next.

Oh NO ![Shocked](http://www.orchidboard.com/community/images/smilies/icon_eek.gif) I misted it this morning for the first time. I water with rain water for now anyway with just a little tap in it. I don't think I have fed it yet and I have left it in my kitchen window as that is where my most humidity is. It could be a bit cold for it that's where my Masdies are.Last 2 days it has really cooled down and it is 65 right now in it. If it got any direct sunlight it was in the wee early morning hours as it is North facing window.
Maybe I should put it in the living room I think it is a little warmer in there. It has rained allot May and June so far so our humidity is better than normal.

Mine did not seem to mind the cold. Don't worry about the humidity either. They aren't that picky about that. My house got pretty dry and they bloomed all though that.

Ok I re-potted it last night. The media looked fine but oh well. Also roots looked very good I only pulled one dead one off.
