Dendrobium aggregatum
I use to grow this mounted, but the fern was rotting, so I broke it apart last spring and mounted it to a 6" plastic net pot with epiweb chunks wrapped with several layers of hergalon material.
I give this plant lots of food and it is kept moist and warm from spring till October, from November till April very dry and cool, I hang it under an open garage structure, it can get into the thirty's at night, but it needs the dry cool to set flowers.
8 spikes this year and lots of new growth. I'm hoping this plant will grow around pot and I should not have to worry about the media decomposing.
