I'm a small backyard grower in a residential area overlooking Pearl Harbor. I barely have enough yard space to keep my orchids happy. Most of the photographs that I post on this Board are of plants that I raised and bloomed. My best friends are orchid people.

Mine just won't be as brilliant as yours 😀

BTW.
Mine grows in a wooden basket.
Medium is 3/4 epiweb cubes, 1/4 coarse sponge rock.
I needed a very airy medium because my plants are outside in the summer and when it rains a lot and the temperatures fall, other media tend to get soggy wet.
The downside is I have to water every day when it gets hot. But most of my plants are mounted, so I have to water often anyway 😀

The basket is hanging in a tree. It gets maybe 3 hours of full sunlight from 8-11 am
