With the help and good advice of RosieC, these scraggly little canes I picked up last summer have bloomed (they weren't scraggly when they arrived, but they did get a bit scraggly in my care). I started out with it in S/H, but I never really got the feeling that it was happy in there. Since RosieC suggested that hers were happier in sphagnum, I switched mine to S/H in a roll of hygrolon. I definitely think it's happier in hygrolon, and have several more buds yet to open. Thanks RosieC!

Lots more blooms now. I'm so pleased that RosieC told me how to care for this one!

You sure can see the unicum (sp) not sure I spelled that right, in it. I saw one almost like this the other day and was thinking how i would like to have it.

Yes you can totally see the unicum in this guy. It's an awesome hybrid and I have often been tempted by it on ebay.

What's the height, approximately? Looks like a little guy in the picture. Where did you find yours? I'm hooked!
