I bought this little guy at a local orchid show a few weeks ago. I have read everything I can find about it which is not much. I think the little guy looks so sad and very shriveled. ...I have been watering and that doesn't seem to help. ..I am afraid of over watering. Any culture tips would be much appreciated. I would be heart broken if it would die. It's one of those ones for me. ....I feel a bit like a helicopter parent with it. ...I keep hovering and watching and nothing is happening. ...lol

Does this little guy still have viable roots? If it still have good root system, it will recover.

There are at least a few little ones.... I'm scared to prod it too much...I didn't want to damage any new baby ones

I have had one for about 3 years. I feel like mine is doing worse than when I got it so not sure I can help much. Mine did get spikes on two leafless growths. All but one bud blasted on the first spike, not sure why. They blasted last year too. The 2nd spike is still growing its buds and may make it to bloom.

Attached is the Baker's culture sheet from OrchidWiz.

I have another article from a woman who grows hers very well, and she said when she quit pampering it over winter is when it took off and really started to thrive.
