Dendrobium anosmum 'Purple Heart'
This is one of the select varieties of Dendrobium anosmum bred, raised and collected by Calman Au of Mililani, Hawaii. Calman is one of the premier growers of Dendrobium anosmum in the State. I was able to get a keiki of 'Purple Heart' from Calman 4-5 years ago. The flowers are distinguished by their larger size, round lavender lip and dark lavender inner lobes. The flowers are fragrant.

I'm a small backyard grower in a residential area overlooking Pearl Harbor. I barely have enough yard space to keep my orchids happy. Most of the photographs that I post on this Board are of plants that I raised and bloomed. My best friends are orchid people.
