Frustration should be tempered by the fact that you're able to flower this beauty. It's quite a pretty bloom. And I certainly understand your frustration. Many years ago I attempted to grow Odontoglossum crispum, which I thought (and still think!) was one of the most beautiful flowers I'd ever seen. During the winter (when I received the plant), it did very nicely. But as soon as it warmed up in spring, that plant quickly declined, in spite of my best efforts to keep it happy. So congratulations on your ability to flower something that's maybe not ideal for your growing environment.
